How to Use the Front Hood Support?

The process of adjusting and stabilizing the hood using the front hood support can be elaborated as follows:

1. Enter the vehicle and locate the switch: First, open the main driver's door, then look for the switch for opening the hood of the car near the bottom to the left of the driver's seat.

2. Unlock the hood: Gently but firmly pull the switch upwards, which will trigger the unlocking mechanism, releasing the clips or locks on the hood and preparing to open.

3. Initial opening of the hood: After confirming that the clips are unlocked, manually lift a corner of the hood until it opens to a wide enough gap for further operation.

4. Fully extend and remove the clips: Continue to lift the hood upwards until it is fully opened. At this point, if the hood is secured by additional safety clips, these clips need to be manually released so that the hood can move completely freely.

5. Install the front hood support: In order to ensure that the hood remains stable when opened, a special front hood support is required. Insert one end of the support rod into the dedicated support port on the front hood, and firmly fix the other end to the appropriate position at the front of the vehicle, such as the bracket in the engine compartment, to ensure that the support rod can stably support the front hood.

6. Fixing buckle (if applicable): Some models may require additional fixing buckles to ensure safety after the hood is opened. At this time, the buckle should be installed in the corresponding position of the hood to further strengthen the opening state of the hood.
